How long have you lived in Forest Creek? 4 years
Please give a description of your family background?
I live in a unique multigenerational household. My wife and I moved to Texas in 2021 to be closer to her aging parents and grandmother. Our remote-work flexibility has allowed us to bring the family under one roof, ensuring they have the care and support they need as they age. Living in a multigenerational household has given me a unique perspective on the diverse needs of our residents, from working professionals to seniors.
Please give a description of your professional background?
As a tax attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions, I bring an extensive command of federal, state, and local tax laws. My background gives me a deep command of complex tax laws and financial structures—skills I hope to leverage to ensure our HOA remains fiscally sound and legally compliant. I pride myself on being a clear communicator who can translate complex board matters into transparent dialogue for all our neighbors.
What motivates you to want to serve on the Board of Directors for the Forest Creek HOA?
I currently serve on the Forest Creek Architectural Review Committee (ARC) where I have experience with reviewing proposals, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating solutions that balance individual homeowner needs with community architectural standards. Now I am eager to contribute my expertise and experience to the board to advocate for our community's best interests. I am committed to clear communication and ensuring every neighbor feels heard and informed.
Is there any other pertinent information that you would like to share?
Beyond my professional experience, as a US Army veteran, I understand the importance of clear rules, personal accountability, and looking out for one’s neighbors. I currently translate those values into action as a member of the Board of Directors for our city’s Economic Development Council. In this role, I work on large-scale budgetary and strategic initiatives for the city, which gives me a unique "birds-eye view" of how to manage growth and community resources effectively. I hope to bring this same level of disciplined, high-level oversight to our HOA board.
